Canada and the Cutest Baby in the World

The Biologist and I returned this week from a quick jaunt to Canada. We went to Ontario to visit his new niece and family. It was a really wonderful trip … lots of hanging out, board games and fabulous food. This was the first time I have been out of the country (woo hoo – FINALLY) and I was really excited.

We spent one afternoon at St. Lawrence Market, which was amazing. They had every kind of cheese you could imagine (GAH!!), as well as various meats (ostrich thighs anyone?), fish and bread. We got lunch from one of the sandwich places there and … woah.Β market collage_fotor

On Saturday we took a quick drive to Niagara Falls. It was the first time I had been there and it was incredible. The day was very cold and wet but I really enjoyed snapping pictures, hearing the roar of the water and taking it all in.

On the way home we stopped at a winery for a quick wine tasting. I don’t know much about wine but it was a fun stop. The baby had a drink too…IMG_4408_fotor

Speaking of the baby – she was lovely. She is already exhibiting high intelligence, killer fashion sense, a keen knack for Scrabble and a splendid personality. Most popular? I think so.IMG_4380 IMG_2414_fotorWe also got to go to Starbucks EVERY DAY that we were there. *le sigh*

Cheers to more adventures!!!

ps – thanks Kyle, Emily, Malin and Paul for making the trip uh-mazing!
